What are some ideas for promoting TripleClicks products during the big, upcoming holidays and gift-giving season?
I suggest you just do “more of the same” as what you have been doing to promote TripleClick products during the year.
But, of course, the Christmas and New Year holiday and gift-giving season presents a “bonanza” for SFI affiliates to do some really specific targeted marketing.
The following is just a suggestion of how you may be able to do this, but really there are innumerable ways – you are only limited by your own imagination.
One thing you could do is select certain categories of products – such as perfumes, special soaps etc. But perhaps you shouldn’t make the range too wide.
Maybe it may be better to go through TripleClicks and “pre-select” a few special gifts that you particularly like and market those as widely as possible.
Perhaps use the heading “The 5 (or 10) best gifts to give to a …
1. Baby
2. Toddler
3. pre-teen boy
4. pre-teen girl
5. teenager
6. young adult ma
7. young adult woman
8. your mum
9. your dad
etc. You choose what market you are targeting.
Perhaps include a price range, for instance
For $5.00 or less
$5.00 to $10.00
etc.
Make your choices AND give your reason. Include a graphic if you can and maybe a recommendation for someone.
And choose “Free Shipping” if possible.
Include the SFI guarantee at the bottom.
And indicate shipping time, perhaps “Allow 10 days for delivery.”
Give the “advertisements” your personal touch and market them wherever you can. Try to do as much free advertising as possible.
The Christmas/New Year season may also be a great time to encourage your favourite shop to become an ECA – try it. Again, the sooner the better. It can take about two weeks to have an ECA approved and it’s first products listed.
I think the best thing to do is – JUST GET OUT THERE AND DO SOMETHING! Anything is better than nothing and you will learn from the experience.
