Increasing rank involves increasing VersaPoints through sales, personal actions, and supporting the actions of affiliates (or some linear combination of the three). For that, study your affiliates' VersaPoint Ledger and see where they could be earning those extra points and coach them on what might be missing.
Increasing commissions involves showing them new ways to promote their "gateway links" and the various TripleClicks products. Again, showing them how to do this involves finding out what they're currently doing and introducing them to new strategies.
Developing new elements to one's business can involve building an ECA Store, setting up a blog, creating a website, or promoting through new types of ads on other sites. Once more, knowing what your affiliates are doing (and what they are capable of doing) is key.
