During the times when you are prospecting for SFI you are going to run into times when your passion is on fire for SFI but you only have a short time to share your home business with someone.
You will need to learn some super power packed short messages to give to someone while you are handing them a business card or a flier. These short messages are known in the sales field as an “elevator pitch.”
One of the things about an elevator pitch is that it must get your prospect’s curiosity enough to want to check out your offer or to contact you for more information. You are not trying to “sell” the prospect anything you only want them to go to your web site, blog or contact you directly.
Once you have exchanged names with each other you can ask them:
“Do you know anyone who would like a free extra income source from the comforts of their own home?”
Most people will tell you yes – that’s when you hand them your card and say something like this;
“There is a lot of money to be made here and I want to help others to get some of it.”
Don’t say anything more – it is now time to leave this prospect and move on to the next. As you can see I covered some big words in my little script.
“Free”
“Income source”
“Work from home”
“A lot of money to be made”
“Helping others make money”
Of course use whatever you can think of saying – be creative and excited when sharing. The above script has been working for me very well. On a good day I can give out 50 of my business cards – out of that I will gain up to 7 to 12 responses.
