"Help" is at the center of the SFI Affiliate development methodology and strategy. From the very instant a prospect signs up, and all along their career as an SFI team member, help is available from various sources (sponsor, upline, forum, Technical support).
"Help" is so important to the extent that it has a Launchpad lesson of its own.

The sponsor's help is the primary form of support an affiliate expects. It is critical. It allows one-to-one tailored response to the inquiries and needs of an affiliate. It should be available all the time. There is no limit to it, neither in scope nor in duration.
But is should not create dependency.
The sponsor's objective is to help the affiliate grow to be assertive and independent, capable of finding answers to their questions and solutions to the problems they may face.
I personally work hard to avoid creating situations of dependency with my affiliates. It is a disservice to our team members to make them feel dependent.
Furthermore, everything here goes against the idea of dependent affiliates
From day one, affiliates are provided with the training, the tools and the mentoring designed to help them build their knowledge base, locate the available resources and understand how to use them in building a successful business. An affiliate who has taken his training at heart will not depend on a sponsor. .
