TripleClicks has a unique inventory of products and services that are not found with any of the major competitors about whom you may be thinking. From that standpoint, they are not TripleClicks competitors per say. Many of the TripleClicks products are better and target different sets of customers.
The question we are faced is rather one of level of activity, quality of advertising, skills in selling.
It is up to us to take massive action in advertising and prospecting for potential TripleClicks customers, so that the store is as well known as the major competitors.
The major competitors are also using the same affiliate sales force, as TripleClicks, to pitch their products and services to potential customers. In this regard, we are better positioned as we have greater vested interest in the success of our sales efforts. The customers we bring to TripleClicks are our customers for life, which is not the case with those major competitors.
It is up to each one of us as SFI Affiliates to take ownership of the TripleClicks store and make it known to potential customers to the same extent the major competitors are known. This is the job we should be doing at every moment of the year, without limiting it to the holiday season.
We actually would have had better results in the holiday season if we had started earlier, few months backs, advertising for TripleClicks products, building a customer base, exploring the various market niches to which TrpleClicks caters specifically.
However it is not too late to start. But the point is to continue and intensify our efforts even after the holiday season, so that we can build up and hold the momentum, keep selling while aiming at next year's holiday seasons. Doing so will help us be much better prepared.
