I never expected anyone to help me either financially or otherwise but I knew as I went along that Support was available. This was my business and to make it successful I would have to work hard towards it.
In view of the foregoing, I would not encourage my PSAs or CSAs to depend on me at all. That is the beauty of this online business which we know we can work independently. Yes, as the Sponsor you have a certain responsibility to ensure that you guide and advise where possible. It is equally good to let your affiliates handle the business on their own because this will give them a very good insight into how everything works. It will prepare them for the future where they will be able to face difficulties and know that they can manage on their own.
If on the other hand you allow your affiliates to depend on you, when that help is not available, they will get discouraged and blame you for not assisting. Make it clear from the onset that this is a self taught business and as far as possible let me move forward on their own. This way you will also be able to judge which of your affiliates are serious and which are likely to give up.
