To me, that sounds like the wrong approach to take with someone new. If you are working on convincing someone to buy something, especially a new PSA who might have signed up because SFI is free to join, it creates a frame of mind that could seem like a "bait and switch" tactic. Instead, I would focus on helping them start making money through promotion first and instead suggest that if they want to explore TripleClicks more thoroughly, they might take advantage of the New Member Pack for what it offers, but not as a priority in itself. Personally, I want to see my PSAs succeed and make money more than I want to see some early commissions off of their purchases--I think that's the route that will keep them around longer.
