I know in my place of work, I can get in there and work quite well without my manager, then all of a sudden, I need to ask something as I have come across an issue that I haven't tackled before.
I think the same can be said for SFI. So, if you are contacted by someone who doesn't usually contact you, that would make me think that they either have something great to share, or they are stuck with a situation and are looking for a bit of expertise to help them solve it.
Every time that you are helping your team members, you are seeing issues which you may find is becoming a common thread, you can turn this into team building emails offering solutions...
Also, if they are coming to you for help, they are keen to succeed...sounds good to me....
