The best way to communicate with your downline is with respect, honesty, directness.
No matter how new to marketing a person is, how naive he or she is in marketing and dealing with people, or how foolish you think your downline is, you must treat the person with respect. He has needs, wants and dreams, and wants to capture them. You are his sponsor or co-sponsor and therefore you are responsible for guiding him and encouraging him to follow the path.
As he begins to learn about SFI, he may begin to insert his own ideas. You must communicate that we achieve success by following successful people.
Though many people push for creativity, you are to teach him duplication from both sides.As they resist what you say, you must communicate directly, no beating around the bushes, tell it as it is, with compassion in a way that encourages and dos not leave him with the feeling that you have just belittled him.
It doesn't matter which tool you use for the communication, as long as both you and the affiliate have and use the same service.
I would leave the translation work to him if you are English speaking and he is not. He is more likely to know which translator does the best with his language. That's not to say that you can not send him a short note in his language, but important mail should be sent in English as more people may be able to help him.
Begin with something uplifting and then deal with any problems directly. Problems do not have to be dealt with in a negative way. Find the positive side to all things. You are doing a good thing for him, helping him to succeed in business, not pointing out his faults.
