I would strongly recommend that you first start prospecting within your own country/region before you go outside. There are many advantages for doing so.
1. There is better communication-you will be able to project your views about SFI in a much faster way, simply and more efficiently as you have the advantage of explaining in a common language;
2. It is easier to meet face to face to alleviate any doubts about whether this is a genuine enterprise or not. Many affiliates have reservations about the people they see on the website and wonder whether they are real. This physical contact will remove these concerns.
3. You are better informed about the living and working conditions within your country and therefore understand the needs of the prospects better. You can use this to your advantage and highlight the SFI opportunity where the prospect sees his/her benefits from building a team;
4. You can relate examples of team work with a sport that is popular within your country - this makes it easier for prospects to understand the SFI concept;
5. The chances that you will exhaust the population in your country by having recruited everyone is small; you can segment your market in your country and recruit accordingly. For example if your country has 2.0 million people, it is not likely that you will have presented the SFI opportunity to even 20,000. There is a high chance of being able to find people within your country who would be interested to earn multiple streams of income.
The potential to recruit is high within your country.
That is not to say that you should not look into prospects who are outside your country. However, when there is such a high market in your own country, I would strongly look into this before venturing into other areas you may not be familiar with.
