I guess a few of the many reasons you choose to have an open house to present your SFI opportunity, is because you are well aware that holding such events will attract interested consumers, at the same time allows you to showcase your products and services this way is to gain new customers too. To some this method is old fashion, but it has its advantages.
It could be done by inviting your warm markets i.e your family members, friends and colleagues for a small scale get together or by simply advertising your open house in various ways such as distributing of flyers, newspaper insertions, engage a group of people to distribute your open house invitation fliers into each letterbox within your vicinity etc, for a big scale gathering. Once the above plan accomplished, now time to sit down and consider what you will like to do at your open house. I think it is not a good idea to start off your opening with ‘we are here to learn on how to make money’. You might send the message that SFI is a scam.
1) If you own a service business, definitely you will have no physical products to showcase. Your event then should be geared towards demonstrating or educating attendees about your service, what are the benefits to them and have some testimonials by pre-recorded video, for example for them see and hear.
2) If you are selling physical products, it is a must for you to offer the best opportunity for attendees to touch, see and feel them.
Demonstration – probably the best way to engage them and to help consumers understand about benefits of using your products, here you can take the opportunity to offer them some discounts for bulk purchases. The plus point is, you have ample time to talk about pricing, discounts and special offers. This method will benefit most of the ECAs with physical stocks available. To make them sign-up for SFI program, try getting a Team Leader available near you to join your event as invited guest or as a Pitcher. And of course, make sure you hold more than one demo to ensure all visitors/attendees to your open house get a chance to try.
3) People love personal attention. So use them to your advantage by inviting them to help you demonstrate, wear, or try your products or service. You are making it fun by connecting with the user.
4) Take the opportunity to distribute your Gift Cards for them to redeem their prizes as attendees to your event.
5) Make sure you have as many items as possible to showcase or for sale, to prove that SFI is just like any other e-commerce sites selling thousands of quality items at a lesser price online.
6) Log book / attendees sign in with contact no. and e-mails will enable you to follow-up later. Make them available. Or RSVP confirmed list would also help.
By doing all of the above, you have extended your helping hand and the same time gaining their trust. This will make it easy for you do a follow up actions and introduced SFI as a whole program. Now you can talk money matters.
