It'll please you to know that SFI as a business is limitless. If you prospect people to become affiliates form your home country alone you are limiting the capacity of the growth of your business.
Hence, getting affiliates from everywhere is the best option i'd say.
There might be one or two few reasons why home country downlines are better to target but they aren't that far different from others worldwide for the following reasons:
1) Language barrier which could be a problem can be tackled with using a translator.
2) Affiliates from other countries can also be easily reached as those from home countries via mails, social medias and phone contacts.
3) Encouraging affiliates to shop on tripleclicks is no longer a big challenge since there would be at least up to 5 or more ECAs from that country where the affiliate can shop from.
4) Worldwide targeting broadens your business and increases your earning capacity as soon with that method of sponsoring, you'd have a downline of affiliates from continents around the world which can spread out 100 times faster into multiple downlines than home country affiliates alone.
For the following concrete reasons, I suggest you stick to sponsoring worldwide as it has far more benefits than sponsoring locally only.
