The wisdom in "The Rules of Success" is that is that SFI is a business and it should be treated a such. Success is never by overnight. It is reached through relentless work, facing difficulties, overcoming challenges while remaining focused on the main objectives.
Showing impatience because one is not getting the short term expected results may stem from a lack of understanding of what it takes to build a long term successful SFI business.
The proportion of our business results will depend on the quality and consistency of our efforts, keeping in mind that real success is long term.
Most businesses, among the giants of the world economy today, faced the potential of failure before breaking through. The example of Apple is an excellent case in point. It is enlightening to know the story of Apple as a business and the biography of Steve Jobs as an businessman. It is a demonstration on how to face adversity and challenges to finally reap the rewards of hard work and steadfastness. Earlier, Steve Job lost the leadership of Apple. Apple itself nearly went bankrupt. When Steve Job regained control of Apple, he built it to be the most valuable company it is today.
This is the lesson every business person needs to keep in mind in all circumstances.
Understanding what it takes to build a business is essential to be successful. The time frame to see a return on the investment we make is not short term. It is rather a long term process that requires steadfastness and commitment.
I always advise my affiliates to keep their sight on the long term goals; Every affiliate should ask this question: where do they see themselves in 10 years? With that vision, we should keep working on growing our businesses everyday.
Our role as sponsors is to help our affiliates fully understand what it takes to be successful here, help them clarify their own vision and goals, as well as pace themselves according to their capacity and resources.
The strength of our commitment as SFI Affiliates is proportionate to our understanding of how to successfully build our businesses and the vision we have of our success, given the unlimited possibilities SFI offers for building wealth and a leaving a legacy.
