Free standing Kiosks are expensive no matter where you use them. The first consideration is how can I make the Kiosk pay for itself. These are my suggestions:
1. Be sure that you have a physical product you are selling to recoup your financial obligation for the kiosk rental. This could be a number of TCECA or TC Direct products that could be used as samples of what TC sells. These would be purchased from the kiosk. If you have an ECA store be sure that you have a quantity of items to sell from this store.
2.Have several computers or tablets where people could access TripleClicks ECA stores so that they could browse and purchase directly while at the kiosk. There are so many pictures of items in TC, that you could have printed out and use to decorate the Kiosk to attract potential members.
3. Make up an Ebook explaining how to set up and profit from a TCECA store, that you could distribute to potential members. Also have one for SFI as a profitable online business.
4.Have plenty of business cards, Xcards, ECA postcards and other advertising items available though SFI Direct for them to pick up and take home.
5. Set up your Kiosk with an international theme, and use pictures from TC showing unique products from different countries.
6. Invite all of the SFI members in your area to participate. This can be cost sharing as well as contributing time. You could set up a schedule so that you weren't overwhelmed with the amount of time you had to be with the Kiosk. In order to make it pay, someone has to be there the full time the venue is open.
7.Getting and using a kiosk isn't something that you do lightly. You have to plan carefully to make it successful. Research the best way, by talking to Kiosk owners at the venue you plan to promote SFI. Find out what has worked for them, and what they have tried that wasn't successful. Make sure you have products and personnel coverage.
8.You could then schedule children's dance classes, choirs, and other entertainers to certain times of the day. These activities will bring in parents, grandparents and other family members so that you were sure to have a crowd at your kiosk.
9. Have a product from TC that you are demonstrating. This can be something involving food so that you have some samples to give out, or an electronic product that requires demonstrating for it to sell well.
10. Use SFI gift cards as a freebie that you are giving to everyone who makes an inquiry. Have M&M packets made up with the SFI and TC Logo that you are giving out. Or some other kind of advertising freebie that the potential members would keep, such as a keychain or nail file printed with SFI and TC logos. These items can be a big investment, so choose them wisely.
11. Bring your transfer bought products and make a display showing that you can make money purchasing what you use every day from TC.
12.Make as many different displays of pictures, items and sales promotional materials as you can to attract as many people as possible.
13. Make sure the people working the kiosk don't just sit and wait for people to come. Have them be active in promoting SFI by walking up to and talking with anyone and everyone that stops and listens.
14. Have someone walking around the venue where you are promoting SFI wearing an advertising board that has the SFI logo on it front and back. They would then tell people where your kiosk is located if they want more information and would be giving out your business card to everyone they see. SFI gift cards would be ideal for this type of promotion.
15. Be sure that everyone involved is wearing SFI advertising clothing, such as shirts and hats.
