Pick your affiliate's brain with this question: "How much work have you put into your business?"
The answer can go one of two ways depending how they respond.
If the affiliate answers, "I do my actions every day. I make sure to score 1500 or more VersaPoints every month. I coach and train my affiliates to do the same as I, but they don't do jack squat," then give them just a little guidance or encouragement. Nothing more. You see that they are, for a lack of better phrasing, working their butt off to build their business.
But if the affiliate's answer is something like this, "I was hoping to earn X amount of $$$ but I haven't even gotten Y amount of $$$. They said I'd earn Z amount of $$$! This sucks," then chances are, they haven't done too much of anything to earn that amount of money. To quote the late singer Billy Preston, "Nothing from nothing leaves nothing." You'd tell this affiliate that they have to put major effort into building their business. No one can just start rolling in dough overnight. One has to make bread in order to break bread (an old saying in my family). The more time you put into making sure the ingredients are just right (the effort put into building your business), the more delicious your bread will be (you will reap the benefits of building your business).
