Anyone that ever worked for somebody else, regardless if it was a big company or a small company, will tell you that they were never paid enough for the work they've done. Even the "slackers" will feel they are not paid enough. Even If you are a hard worker and you love your job (like I do) you will know in your heart that your salary does not reflect your worth.
Starting your own business in the real world is even worst. Most businesses are all work and very little joy in the first 2 years. It is very possible that you can not afford to pay yourself a salary in the beginning.
SFI is a business like every and any other business out there, with shops and offices and staff and all the expenses that goes with it - except you do not have a staff to pay, no rent and a zillion other small expenses. You have to look at the big picture, the long term prospects. You put in the time and the effort and if you are lucky enough to be able to do so - some money. In the long term all your expenses will be paid by the business and the fact that it is YOUR business makes the time and effort you invested worth it.
If you explain it to them like that and they still feel it is not worth it they are looking for a get rich quickly scheme where they get lots of money for doing very little - not a business where they actually have to work
