Logic suggests that the best way to assure yourself a win with the fewest bids is to only bid at the last moment, giving everyone else a chance to bid before the time runs out. That way, you bid the fewest number of times. This, however, can also tax patience and consume extra time. You have to consider if it's worth your time and TCredits to bid.
