That word 'convincing' in my mind indicates that pressure is being applied to the prospects to join SFI and that is unfortunate. We are not selling them a product that they can purchase and then leave and may not want it again. We are in fact inviting them to enter into a partnership with us to build up our businesses. We are going to enter into a win/win relationship.
In order for this relationship to work, the prospective affiliate must clearly understand this - can see that he/she will benefit from the relationship - willingly and happily sign up as an affiliate knowing the facts of the business. Therefore the statements you make must be focused on addressing these matters.
Don't tell lies, don't colour or exaggerate the facts - doing this may damage future relationships with the prospect or worse still ruin yours and SFI's reputation.
I would tell them at least the following:
1. This is basically a sales business trading online and conducted by affiliates
2. Our core roles as SFI affiliates as sales of TripleClicks products and services and recruitment of TC Members and SFI Affiliates.
3. New affiliates are assigned a sponsor/mentor who will help and guide the new members to grow their businesses to be come successful. The affiliate and the sponsor need to work together.
4. The affiliates will receive free training. They will also have the potential to earn while they are training. So even if they have had no previous experience in this kind of business they should succeed.
5. All the products for sale are supplied. All the affiliate has to do is promote the products and services. The reception of orders, payments, packaging etc.. are all handled for them.
6. There are no mandatory financial outlays. There are no entry fees or upgrades. The business is totally free to enter and free to leave, just simply opt out if they want to.
7. Explain to them the affiliate/sponsor relationship if necessary.
8. Your can also present the prospect with the SFI Facts - years on the business, number of affiliates etc....
