I'm glad you asked this question. Never chase people. As the adage goes . . . you can lead a horse to water but you can't make it drink. The genealogy tool makes it simple just to send a blanket message to this 'drift wood'. Drift wood is good for making a fire, or perhaps even building a canoe. But until it finds a purpose it just drifts along. So you never really give up on them but I wouldn't bother sending each one an e-card! That's a total waste time when you have 1000s of them. So just use the genealogy tool to filter the inactive members and send them a weekly team mail. Try to strike a nerve in each communication. You just might surprise yourself and find a diamond in the rough!
