With that in mind you must realize that there will be a lot of referrals who have joined just to look around and see what SFI is all about. There are those who couldn’t really tell you why they joined except to say, “I join all those free things.” And there are also referrals that you will sign up that get paid to sign up in free marketing companies and later opt-out.
With the understanding from what I shared so far we will realize that there will be quite a few referrals we sign up that will be “inactive” for one reason or another. This is to be expected so do not let this hinder your future growth in your business building activities.
One of the mistakes that new affiliates in this industry make is to worry and fret over the referrals that are inactive. Much time and activity is wasted in trying to wake up those who are asleep.
This in turn will wear down a new affiliate and lower their enthusiasm because they think it will be impossible to acquire “active”, working referrals.
As rising Team Leaders we need to let the sleepy heads sleep. Keep them in your mailings and other communication systems but do not “pursue” them – (chase after them). When they wake up (if they do) they will contact you or you will notice that they have come alive because they are now on your movers list.
If their name is still on your genealogy list then there is a chance that they will wake up so I suggest that you never “give-up” on them. During the last couple days of each month I suggest that you send a letter to all the “red” flagged affiliates in your genealogy list giving them one more chance to get in touch with you before being removed by SFI.
During the mean time – put your efforts on working with your movers and continue enrolling new referrals.
I look at it like this – My sponsor found me through his efforts and I am a “go getter” I know if my sponsor could catch a fellow like me then I know I will find other referrals just like me and I am not going to stop until I have a full house
Go fishing – change the bait, or whatever it takes and catch some real keepers and work with them.
