I feel that one of the most important things about advertising offline - in newspapers or elsewhere - is that the contact details for finding out more or for signing up need to be as simple as possible.
People cannot just click something offline.
For contact details in offline advertising you could provide one or more of the following:
- Your Phone Number
When somebody calls you or sends you a text message, ask for their email address. Get that link that they can click off to them in an email as soon as possible. Consider providing some extra information in the email at the same time.
- Your Email Address
When somebody emails you, get a link and further info off to them as soon as possible.
- Your Website Address
With offline advertising it is very important that this website address be as easy as possible to remember. The easy-to-remember website address should either re-direct to one of your SFI gateways, or should go to your site that is filled with content about SFI and where you have links and banners displayed
Also keep your ad quite short. Intrigue people. Make them want to find out more.
