According to Wikipedia, information overload refers to the:
" difficulty a person can have understanding an issue and making decisions that can be cause by the presence of too much information. It occurs when the amount of input to a system exceeds its processing capacity. "
In order to prevent or minimize information overload to our new Affiliates, the following needs to be done:
1. After the Affiliate has been assigned to a Sponsor/Team Leader, the latter has to send immediately a welcome e-card with a short message of introduction giving the details of the Sponsor/Team leader's name, nationality and about SFI;
2. In the succeeding communications to the new Affiliate, the latter has to be informed that in SFI learning is earning, and with this, he/she should read the start button and the succeeding lessons carefully and take time to understand it.
If ever he has some difficulty, doubts and confusion in going through it, he/she should immediately inform his sponsor, in order that these difficulty/doubt or confusion will be cleared and the Affiliate can go through the next stage of his/her learning process with SFI;
3. The Affiliate should be reminded that SFI has set the rules that learning should not be done in the fastest means, but will depend on his/her capability to understand the lesson/topic and as much as possible he/she should follow the time table set by SFI for such lesson/topic;
4. That the new Affiliate should be advised not to go further if he/she does not understand the lesson well, to avoid misapplication of the knowledge;
