Information overload is part of the reasons why some affiliates decide to opt out of SFI or to block their sponsors. As a new affiliate you receive numerous emails from SFI, if your sponsor and co-sponsor are also sending you various communications you can easily get tired. So as a sponsor it is crucial that you are careful not to send too many messages to your downline.
SFI has a guide on how to communicate with your downline including the following:
1. Weekly team mail - send the team mail once a week only not daily
2. Stream posts - maximum 3 days interval, stick to this
There are other forms of communicating readily available at SFI such as E-Cards, Chat and Tips. These should be used sparingly to minimize information overload.
Personally I like the E-Cards as they can easily be sent in an affiliate's primary language. The Genealogy tool is key as it has your affiliates VP Ledger which can guide you on the type of information needed by each affiliate, especially your movers.
