Building a team with active members starts with the ad you use to attract new affiliates.
Motivating them once they have joined is down to your communication skills. Try to be assertive without being pushy.
The gateways do work, but there are already so many people using them, yours will just be one more identical ad. You need to give them a reason to respond to YOUR ad rather than someone else's. That is why I don't use the gateways directly.
Point your ads to a unique web page, where you can offer them some added value. That could be any number of things;
- a series of emails or a video, giving them day-by-day instructions on how to complete the tasks from the task list to gain the best advantage (which will vary depending on the time of the month they sign up)
- a gift card, so they can join TripleClicks first and start with some TCredits in the bank, then if they want to be an affiliate as well, they automatically join your team
- a message telling them they will qualify for the TCredit Welcome or Cash Welcome (if you use them)
- a list of marketing sites they can use to promote their new business
- a link to a TripleClicks product that will be useful to them
- an offer of a gift certificate or reassigned PSAs once they reach a certain number of VP
The list goes on.
Once you have them convinced you will be a good sponsor, and it is in their best interest to join your team, then you can send them to your gateway to sign up.
Hope this helps.
