In a book that I was reading a while back on marketing, the author, Eric Worre, impressed upon me the importance of educating for understanding rather than encouraging the sale or sign-up. This approach makes better sense because it is providing knowledge about the program and then setting up the next follow-up or action.
So in answer to your question, share with people what is rare about SFI and why it is such a great opportunity. If they are able to understand that then they will not require any convincing to join, they will be asking you how to do this. I have used this tactic and approach and been amazed that I have been asked for the information to sign up without even suggesting it. For me I like it because I am not a pushy salesperson type, however, I love teaching and educating people. This provides me the opportunity to do just that and I leave the rest up to them.
Hope this has been helpful to you in some small way.
