The most valuable marketing skills to teach downlines in my own point of view, i have outlined them below:
-Patience: Most marketers often neglect this but it contributes a lot to our success. For example if you plant an orange fruit tree seed today, you do not expect it to be fully grown by tomorrow morning ready for eating. Do you?
The same applies to our marketing career, we need to be able to wait for our results. So as a leader you need to
be able to teach them, patience solves a lot of things. It produces the harvest we want.
- Planning: Like they say 'failing to plan is planning to fail', this comes true to some point. Thanks to SFI, each month we are given a chance to set our monthly goals. This enables one to accomplish his/her own set goal/s before even attempting to do it.
- Research: This is another skill you need to teach your downlines, they need to be able to research on their own and ask questions to themselves which call for action. Some questions are like, on what are the best selling products? Where are we growing? How best can i implement this information?
Where am i getting satisfactory results for my SFI business? How best can i use my research results?
What does the market want?
- Communication: Your downlines must be able to do this, it will help them be able to deliver information clearly and for the intended purpose. This can boost their advertising skills.
- Positive thoughts always: Yes we really need this. Our thoughts determines our outcomes.
Having the right mentality is a key which unlocks your success in marketing.
