If you always do what you've always done, you'll always have what you've always had. I am sorry, I don't remember who said this. But it is about the wisest statement I have ever heard.
Some of us have come to SFI from other similar businesses. Some of us may be experts at this sort of thing and may not have anything change in our life because we became affiliates of SFI.
But many of us are new to this type of business. We have much to learn both in regards to doing this sort of business, and in becoming a business owner, free of having a boss and set hours.
I have learned to set goals. My goals up to the time I signed up for SFI was "to live until I die." I didn't have to work hard to achieve that goal. Or so I think. I'm still alive. But now I have to know what needs to be done in order to reach each goal and to end up with enough income to not have to balance the check-book.
Not only do I have to know the path, I have to walk it, progress from step to step. I can see progress. Enough to know that if I work harder, it will come sooner.
I have become more self assured, but still need to work on that. I know what needs to be said to prospects, but I get tongue-tied when I talk. But I have progressed from leaving Gift Cards on tables to talking to the prospect as I hand them the card.
I expect that the opportunity that SFI has given me will shape my character such that people will know that I am knowledgeable in this field and will supply an income that will carry me far into my husband's retirement.
