I believe a welcome letter should be just that; a welcome letter.
Any tips issued in the welcome letter should be kept to the minimum so as not to overwhelm the PSA.
Welcome the PSA to the business, talk a little about SFI and what it stands for,you could even give reference to your personal experience with SFI.
The more important part of the welcome letter however is to introduce yourself to the PSA such that he/she gets comfortable enough to respond/communicate with you and from there you can begin to give real tips.
If you want to drop a tip in the welcome letter,it might be better to refer the PSA to check out the start menu on the top right hand corner of the screen.
Hope this helps.
