Getting more of my team participating in SFI's quarterly Leadership Challenge is a big challenge in itself.
I have only ever won once, and it's not due to lack of effort or enthusiasm - it just did not happen again! Workers are hard to come by, and we need to keep looking for one every time a new PSA arrives.
My one and only Leadership Challenge Badge has been one of my prized possessions in SFI. It is there for my team to see and aspire to achieve without any pushing on my part. I kept on aspiring to win more Leadership Challenges, leading by example, but still couldn't find enough aspirant from among my team.
One day one of my new PSAs started to show leadership by sponsoring 5 and helping these 5 to become EAs then EA2s, and without his knowledge was already qualifying for Level 1 of the Leadership Challenge. And became one of the winners!
What he's done is an exact duplication of what the SFI Ultra-Simple 3-Steps Plan has recommended. And my PSA has exactly duplicated me- we're now both displaying the same Leadership Challenge Badge!
Sharing my PSA's success with the rest of my team through my weekly messages, Stream Post, and in my Leadership Page blog will hopefully get more of my team to participate in the next quarterly Leadership Challenge. I'm keeping my fingers crossed!
