The Leadership Challenge is a great motivation incentive program through SFI. This program is available to all affiliates and yet not all participate.
It is important to take some time to find out from your down line membership team members as to what prevents them from participating in the Challenge.
I have been with SFI for a couple of years and have found that many affiliates may not feel ready to take on a leadership tittle so may by default not consider participation with the challenge. With this in mind, it has been helpful to send out TeamMail messages which reminds all down line members their importance with SFI and to truly let their strengths shine. When the focus is on what can be done and know-how, the affiliates immediately will see an increase in their down-line too which will have them part of the Leadership Challenge.
It is important to keep in mind that to lead it is not necessary to have a special titile BUT is important to have the skills and knowledge of how to lead others. Leading others is simply giving others the opportunity to be their best and if this means coaching or modelling or simply motivating others to bring out their best - then this is the focus.
As a entrepreneur, it may simply mean taking time to develop self first to increase self-knowledge and skills on how to be a leader (not based on title but relationship with others). Leading is a learned skill and so if you or I can teach down line members to feel comfortable with leading then there will be nothing holding them back from taking on the Challenge.
Accepting the Challenge is one part of this the other is to feel confident in the Challenge to do as well as you can.
Encourage creativity with the resources that a down line member has access to and watch them win the Leadership Challenge.
