Offline recruiting give you an instant result; either positive or negative (most of the time) and the conversion rate is much better than the online recruiting. You get some quality affiliates, more loyal than unknown online recruits. But if your presentation is bad the result will be fatal, like in the case of a play! The time taken for recruiting a good team is considerably long and the expense is higher than online recruiting. You need a lot of preparations before going to offline recruiting like the rehearsal of a drama or play!
In online recruiting, you get more referrals but the conversion rates are low. In online recruiting you get a lot of freedom. You can edit or change the promotion method, the ad copy, the visual and the media. You can also target a particular market segment or country. The budget may be very low (if you use the free advertising mediums) or higher like a big budget movie. But the results are unpredictable.
Therefore, initially go for one-on-one recruiting (warm marketing) and get a few loyal team members. Then recruit online using the different sources like Social Medias, blogs, websites, online ad services, PTC, PPC, safe-list mailings, etc. Friends and family are a best starting point in this journey!
