The best way is to lead by example because your downline will trust and be encouraged to follow your guidance if they see you too are practising what you preach. You may need to make it simple for your downline to benefit from your guidance on how they can build their own downline, so my suggestions are as follows:
Use the 3-step plan model:
1. Teach them how to become an Executive Affiliate (EA) and to maintain at least this status monthly. Teach them that they can be EA by doing sales, transfer buying, Setting up a standing order where they can, including completing some other action VP in their VP Ledger.
2. Teach them how to recruit five affiliates using the methods listed at the marketing centre here: https://www.sfimg.com/Resources/MarketingCenter?pg=1&form=MarketingMethods&goal=Referrals
In addition, teach and guide them on where and how to advertise, using all relevant methods like placing ads on classified sites (free and Paid), placing flyers in relevant places, distributing x-cards to targeted people, face-to-face prospecting, social media, subscribing to S-builder, purchasing PSA To Go, buying signups from other suppliers in TripleClicks or outside of it.
You may also need to teach them to purchase a domain name in order have their personalised gateways for prospecting for signups. You can also support them by teaching them to set up promotional/landing pages, blogs or their own website. If they need technical support you can show them how to set up free websites and blogs in Word Press and Bloggers for a start, in order to increase their chances of building their downline with website/blog visitors who may convert to SFI affiliates.
3. Teach them that it is imperative for them to also teach these 5 affiliates to do these same 3 steps, which is DUPLICATION. Duplication will enhance the depth of the downline and as a consequence, increase the chances to earn more income from their activities and when at this stage, it may become strategically prudent for any of the members of your downline to seek team leader rank.
Finally, you should also teach them to Aim High and Dream Big by introducing them to THE PLAN, in order to set the stage for them to reach for greater heights and finally reach that position of Diamond Team Leader (DTL).
