Let us be realistic and analyse this question deeper. As much as I am able to communicate effectively on the internet and look for information and talk to people about my online business, I am not yet proficient. There are still areas that I am not very competent at in online recruiting and I would therefore concentrate on offline recruiting because this is what I know and I am good at (contrary to what others believe).
I agree that I may be slow when it comes to the numbers I recruit every week because I am adopting offline methods but consider this:-
- I am looking for quality affiliates who will remain with my team on a long term basis (this is where your commissions will multiply) so I would rather recruit 5 people offline and know that these will be active than have 100 who will start being useful but then fade away with time.
- I have the opportunity to talk to people offline near my area and this means that people know me and would trust what I say-it is easier to attract their attention and get them to be self motivated.
Whether it is offline or online, the emphasis should be on having affiliates who are serious about this opportunity and this is where you will decide what works best for you. At the moment, I do not know how to place online advertisements and recruit by this means and until such time that I become conversant with this online method of recruitment, I would rather utilize a method that I am familiar with and that works for me.
