For me, I always tell the success stories of famous people or from my experience though of another case but is an effort that led to success.
For example, I was a programmer and drummer who has the ability above average and has a lot to teach others about programming and drumming. I told how my process up to this stage of learning, how to communicate, how to determine the goal or target. Convincing them without a target the way we will be slower. Then I told him that I produced from the process and what they are going to get anyway.
In addition I tell stories of success such as, McDonald, Robert Kiyosaki, Honda, and many other stories you can find on the internet.
Indeed, not all of them would be impressed but certainly there are some who are motivated.
But one thing is important, You need to reach certain level in SFI. Your down line won't motivated if they know his or her up line did not success.
