Firstly I would not assume that your in-actives are either lazy nor unmotivated.
By way of background I signed up for SFI while I was busy working another affiliate program.
I had a quick look, decided that, interesting as it might be, I did not have the time to learn it all.
I did become active several months later and have not looked back since.
From reading others people's experiences I know I am not alone there.
You may well have VERY motivated and energetic affiliates, but whose attention is elsewhere.
Any communication with them that implies that they just have to be motivated will likely lead to nothing.
You need to approach this from the viewpoint that their time will be better spent at SFI, where they can build a strong and reliable income stream rather than a quick turn MLM scheme or similar.
You also need to demonstrate that SFI is not overwhelming if it is absorbed in bite-sized pieces.
