1. Well, my honest opinion is that there is no need to compare these two types of recruiting SFI affiliates. There are no two thoughts about it. The very idea is to recruit as many affiliates as possible adopting both these types of recruitment-online & off line recruitment.
2. It is recommended that we should promote both SFI/Tripleclicks and their associated programs both Online and Offline. So where is the doubt?
3. Both the online & offline recruiting have their own pros & cons.
4. Offline Marketing/Recruiting:-
It basically involves inter acting with people face to face. These people may be your family members, relatives, friends, colleagues and others known to you directly or indirectly through your contacts, etc.
A). Advantages:-
i. Face to face meeting will facilitate you to understand the individual’s back ground, his nature & amount of interest in business, financial status etc.
ii. The more you interact personally with them, you will understand them better and chances of getting them as your PSAs will be brighter.
iii. No language barrier.
iv. Better coordination with frequent personal visits.
v. Communication/transportation will be less as most of these prospective affiliates will be well within your local area/city/country.
vi. You stand a very good chance to build a strong and active Team.
vii. Slow & steady process showing results in due time!
B) Disadvantages;-
i. The main restriction is that promotion of SFI business is limited to he local region viz, town/city, state and country. What’s the point in restricting ourselves to one country when SFI is active in 190 & more countries!
ii. Cost towards printing Brochures, Visiting Cards, Flyers and at the same time limiting yourself to your City, state, region or country.
iii. There is definitely no global reach of “offline recruiting”
5. Online Marketing/Recruiting: -
i. It involves the exclusive use of the cyberspace (internet) sources to the maximum.
A) Advantages:
i. Easy creation of a personal Blogs where you may advertise the SFI /Triple clicks products to attract affiliates to sign up.
ii.Enables qick pasting the links of your Prestige Domain Gateways as well as your personal SFI designed gateways.
iii. Wide global reach, resulting in sign ups of affiliates from different countries,culture & socio-economic backgrounds.
iv .Response will be quick & transparent.
v) More number of signups.
vi. If you possess a Desk Top/LapTop/Mobile & an internet connection, this is the most comfortable platform for Adverting to sign up recruits.
vii. Its cheaper when compared to offline Recruiting, provided you have the resources mentioned in the above clause -para5 (vi).
viii. Spreads a wider net for catching “fish”
ix. The world is a a global village and these days most people can afford an internet connection & a tech savvy gadget like smart phones tablets, computers etc.
X. There is a huge scope for E-commerce sales these days.
xi. Primarily SFI is an online marketing business. In this computer& cyberspace age its only practical that we opt for online business within our comfort zone..
xii. There may be persons and groups who appear difficult to approach on one on basis but online it’s just by the click of our device on the internet. For such people, personal face to face interaction may produce negative results. No staring eyes and cold feet.
xiii. Many ‘Ads’ as possible can be made to various sites with various reminders and trackers to monitor all our activities at the same time with a controlled feedback system available.
B) Disadvantages:-
i. As you are not in direct personal contact with the new sign ups, there is no guarantee for all recruited affiliates to prove to be good active workers! Hence quality suffers! .
ii. This can achieve quick results but in terms of quality the business may not be steady;
6. Further, the use of these two types of recruiting depends on the nature & background of the recruiter. I would suggest “off line recruiting” to an individual who is bold, outgoing, enthusiastic, energetic, comfortable & at ease while speaking to strangers.
7. On the other hand would recommend “online recruiting” to a shy person
who feels uneasy to talk & convince strangers, friends, colleaugues etc.
8. To summarize, I would firmly advise you to go for both types of recruitment. Do
not impose restrictions on yourself. Work out with dedication to succeed in SFI as per your set goals.
