Basically, the genealogy filter is a tool to make your work easy. Sort of a know your CSA/PSA tool. Using the filter means you can sort your genealogy into groups depending on the group you wish to attend to immediately. It can be sorted by default, last name, SFI ID, sponsor ID, rank, Versa points, last Login, date joined, etc. You can even sort in ascending or perhaps descending order, again depending on your needs.
The filters therefore are a tool to help you organize your downline into tidy little groups.
