I guess that there is some merits for either way, however if you are not a good speaker, than I would advise online recruiting. Offline recruiting needs a person with the “gift of the gab” and many of you would have this gift. In that case, go for it and advertise offline.
Online advertising is what I personally prefer. It is easy, it is quick and you can choose either free or paid advertising – whichever works for you. It is a great way of recruiting if you are not a good speaker or not good at explaining yourself.
The beauty of online advertising is that you can get your own website and make up a page. Draft out a blurb about what you would like to say and post it to your page. You can then do some free advertising and see how many people you get to have a look.
