What you also need to realise that even though you are not an E365 winner, you are a winner in other ways.
Explain to your team that to win the E365 competition earns you a Prestige Badge for your home page. However all is not lost.
If you are in a position to win the competition, you must be working well and are fairly well up the ladder of success. Celebrate this success. Even though you were not a winner on this one occasion, you can be a winner on many other occasions by climbing up the ladder to success and achieving Team Leadership Status. In my opinion, being a Team Leader is very, very rewarding and is in itself, a status symbol.
