Actually, as soon as you have your first PSA you have a team of one, so technically you are a team leader before you earn the Title and Rank of Team Leader.

What that means is this:
As you build your team, each new member that earns and maintains EA2 earns you 100 VPs every month. With five team members each maintaining EA2, you earn 500 VPs each month. You also earn VPs when those PSAs make TripleClick purchases.
The combination of those VPs will naturally move you up to the Team Leader rank.
So the best advice is to just build your team and support and guide them to build their teams too. As you do that, your team will help you earn the next levels and Team Leader ranks naturally.
Also, as a leader of your team, you should be helping and supporting all of your team members from day one, regardless of your title or rank.
