Try to identify your own learning style - do you learn best by reading, taking notes and studying? Or, do you do better to just jump in with both feet and learn as you go?
SFI is pretty much set up for any type of learner out there. They are well aware of the amount of learning needed and how to do this with the least risk of burn out.
Of course, as a brand-new affiliate, you will want to do what SFI is instructing by following the LaunchPad Lessons but only do one a day. Only read one or two articles. Do the daily to-do tasks. Look through the forum for questions or subjects that interest you. If this is all you do in the first 30 days you will have a good start without being overwhelmed.
You can adapt all this to your own learning style - if you are a reader-studyer then read everything, take notes and review.
If you are a jump in with both feet and go gung-ho, then you might want to start looking in to how to advertise your gateways on top of everything else.
This will be an individual experience and only you will know when it's too much or overwhelming for you but if you stick to common sense and your own self-knowledge, you shouldn't overwhelm yourself or burn out.
