When your advertisements are not providing satisfactory results then you need to ask yourself certain questions:
1. Are you using unique key codes to track the results of your advertisement from different sources?
2. Are you using the appropriate advertising tools and techniques?
3. Are you advertising in the right places and are you targeting the right prospects?
4. Have you tried to advertise to your warm market; friends, colleagues, social network, relatives etc?
If the answer to all or any of these is NO, then you need to rethink your strategy and come up with more effective ones, in order to avoid the mistakes that resulted in unsatisfactory results. Also, you may need to train or retrain yourself by going through relevant training material within and outside of SFI in order to develop appropriate understanding and acquire pertinent skills that will enhance your ability to carry out more effective advertising that will provide satisfactory results.
In light of the above, my suggestions are as follow:
1. Try face-to-face advertising, speak to your friends, colleagues, relatives etc and encourage them to become SFI affiliates and TC members. Also go to your main street and visit stores, especially the ones you are familiar with and persuade them to register their businesses as ECAs at TripleClicks (TC).
2. Advertise on sites or forums where people are seeking work from home, work online and internet income opportunities.
3. Place flyers on targeted areas where visibility is profound and targets are those seeking first or second incomes like, student centres, job seeker centres, libraries, retiree’s gatherings etc.
4. Set up a reputable and effective website or blog to promote various aspects of your SFI/TC business, so that you can have control of the contents and include more targeted messages and techniques in order to improve the search engine optimisation (SEO) of your website.
5. Make do with TC gift cards and x-cards in prospecting for TC signups. The gift cards can be effective if properly distributed to minimise waste and fraud.
6. You can even organise events and discussion groups where you may initially woo attendees with refreshment and other giveaways while introducing them to SFI/TC and you may need to physically demonstrate and introduce them to SFI/TC sites, and ensure you highlight the benefits.
7. Finally, always apply key codes in your advertisements in order to determine those ads that are effective, so that you will be properly informed when deciding the ad sources you need to continue and the ones you need to discontinue, because a proper and appropriate resource allocation are important in any business.
In whatever strategy you adopt, please note that determination, hard work and professionalism are necessary qualities of a good business person. Also note that these approaches are not one-size-fit all methods, so you need to apply them to the appropriate objectives and goals you intend to achieve, good luck with your advertising.
