First get yourself a notebook, or for those who like to keep everything on their computer, organise a folder on your computer. I find a notebook is best as you can have it next to yourself at your computer and it is easily read and consulted.
- Make a list of where you are advertising.
- Make a list of the wording of your ads and where you are placing them
- Make sure that EVERY ad has a different KeyCode.
Log all of this information with a separate column for comments. In the comments column you can make notes such as how many visits you have had, how many signups etc.
Now evaluate the information and decrease advertising where it is not bringing in the desired results and increase the better advertising.
You can also evaluate whether paid or free advertising is bringing in the best traffic and signups and whether you are getting better traffic and signups from one country over another.
All of this information needs to be compiled and sorted. You can then just choose from a couple of advertisements which are doing reasonably well and concentrate your efforts in this area.
