In my search for the right company to build my home business with I ended up joining a few of them. After spending a week or two with the company I would decide if I wanted to stick with them or not.
I would contact my sponsor (if possible) and tell them I was leaving the company. I would do this to see what my sponsor was going to do or say in attempting to keep me in this/her team.
Most of the time I only received an email stating “sorry to see you go” – they would throw in a couple “hype” paragraphs and ask me to give it another try. Most of them NEVER inquired as to “why” I was quitting.
So the lesson I learned from this is - when you have an affiliate who made EA in their first month and then stopped and sent you a message stating that SFI is not what they expected – I would make contact with said affiliate and just ask them “What did you expect to accomplish with SFI?
If the affiliate responds back to your question remember that their reason for backing off is real to them and is important so do not “down-play” their reply. Thank them for responding and let them know that their reason for stopping is “valid” according to the way they are looking at things.
Do not try to encourage them through a bunch of “hype” and promises that can’t be realized – at this point hype and promises will make things worse. Give them the “facts” as to what it will take to build a business with SFI and let them know you are there to help them every step of the way.
Acknowledge any fears that they have as “valid” and you understand what they may feel like – then give them solid and provable information to dispel their fears.
Understand that this affiliate has been in SFI for one month – they achieved EA (or higher). They took the time to contact you and state that SFI is not what they were looking for – most of the time you will never get a message from someone who is going to quit they just disappear off the face of the planet.
All I can suggest is at this point if the affiliate has not changed their mind and is still planning to leave – encourage them to stay connected with SFI but go ahead and go inactive and that the door to SFI and your team is always open and would gladly “reconnect” with them if they ever change their mind.
Wish them well and bless them to find the success they are looking for.
