It is never a bad time to invest in yourself. So achieve Rank as soon and as often as possible.
Many say there is no need to achieve rank if you do not have a team. I think that you will find recruiting a team much harder if you are not aggressively seeking to achieve rank. It is one of the most powerful things in business - momentum.
Imagine if all the EAs under you thought this way. You would have a team in no time. And you are their leader so lead the way.
The benefits of rank are numerous. More TCredits each month, More CSAs each month, More Credibility each time a person visits your Join My Team page.
More accountability too and this is good for you. People see your rank and seek your advise. Well you need to keep informed, you don't want to be answering people's questions with, "I don't Know". You must also work on your leadership page, providing valued content there. This is good for your Affiliates, but also a very good exercise for you.
One small footnote: Saying "I Don't Know" is okay the first time you're asked a tough question. It is much better than making up an answer. But it is never good the second time the same question gets asked. That means your not doing your homework.
