I rarely advertise SFI directly. I use Email Campaigns to offer value and educate my prospects I absolutely love it and the Affiliates I get from it are so much more responsive than any other form of recruitment I use.
Most forms of advertising are designed to create Brand Awareness. Unfortunately it take you and me forever and tons of money to Brand Ourselves. Most of us see advertising as a sales vehicle - it is not. It is a prospecting vehicle.
Before a buyer acts in the real world, he must see a product advertised 7 to 10 times. In the virtual world the number is much higher. Just think about how many 100s of banners you do not click on… And that tells you the chances of your ad being clicked. When you use advertising that gets you 10,000 Unique Views to your website, you have 10,000 people seeing your product once. Even in the real world this is not enough, the virtual world means you could buy 10,000 visits and get no sign ups.
A better approach is to give something away in exchange for a person’s name and email. Now they get something free. If that something is of value they will value their connection to you. The freebie was free, so the value transfers to you. Now the prospect has value, attributes that value to you and you have their contact info so you can continue to offer value.
After 10 to 15 exchanges they trust you enough to take what they value (money) and use it in ways you advise (SFI). Because your advise is proving trustworthy and valuable.
How can this be accomplished with strangers? And more specifically a large number of strangers? Email campaigns of value organized and automated – an Auto Responder.
