I would advise you to upgrade to EA as soon as you have the time when joining SFI. It is very easy to do that first month.The affiliates that progress fast will be among your future team leaders.
As a Team Leader,when I see this,I send down praise and a referral who speaks their language.This way the new EA has a actual team.He can then start to put team messages
in the Stream post.He can send team letters and feel like a successful SFI Ea.
I always send down referrals who have some v.p. and a real e-mail.I keep the duds and this months working EA"s.
This is the best time to send a congrats e- card.Mention why you sent him a referral so soon.Also mention that his new referral will be getting team letters from you and your full support till he is ready to take over.
