First, I would go to each individual member who has become inactive and check their VP Ledger to see how they have previously been gathering their VP.
I would then compose a team mail to these inactive members based on what I found in their VP Ledger. Use the filters in Genealogy to sort out which members you will be emailing. In your email, I would point out in very gentle terms, how you yourself got discouraged a time or two and how you picked yourself up. It is at this point you could make the offer of a Gift Certificate with some suggestions on how to utilise it which would further improve their standing in SFI.
You could also start a competition which could be advertised on your Leadership Page. Advise your team members that there is a contest running for the current month and there will be prizes for those who achieve a certain status.
Always put a link to your Leadership Page in your emails and team mails. If you have a website which promotes SFI, you could add this link as well and advise your team members that you post updates from time to time which may help them in their business endeavours.
