Spamming would be if you start dominating the conversations and start posting and sending advertisements without a request or permission from the forum. To get the forum members to ask you for more information or give you permission to discuss it there you first have to get to know the forum members, they have to get to know you and you have to build a relationship of trust and respect with the forum members.
