Good question!
It's a good practice to look at our communications, and other methods, occasionally, and critically and see where and how, if anywhere, we can improve them! So why not start with a brainstorming session for yourself?
Think about what information, language etc that you want in an ideal welcome message for your new PSAs... Include things like style, phrases, SFI terms, how much/little to include. Then look at your existing message and pull it apart into those categories, rate them against your ideal and see where you can improve!
Don't forget that your welcome message is the first communication from you that they will see, so think about every piece of information from THEIR point of view! It's very easy to forget what it was like when we first signed up to SFI, so try to remember that, and what you needed and wanted... What confused you? Try to address those things! It may seem stale to you, but it's not you that needs to read it! Put yourself in the new PSAs shoes and change it for their benefit.
Also, keep it simple!! Don't overwhelm them! You can follow up your first message with more information later, or include helpful links for specific topics. Make sure they know that they can contact you, and tell them how Is best, and maybe tell them when you will write again so they know you plan to be around, but if you do that you must stick to it!!
